Anasa Wellness Resort

We spent one night at the Anasa Wellness Resort. It is a beautiful, serene and peaceful location set in the midst of a lush tea plantation. The property consists of 10 luxuriously appointed chalets with wide balconies affording uninterrupted views of the tea plantation and the forest surrounding the resort. We woke up this morning to the sounds and sights of chirping birds and a deer roaming in the plantation. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to enjoy their spa, swimming pool or other amenities since we were there for only one night. We had both dinner and breakfast at the onsite restaurant, Alwan. My husband had the tomato bisque soup and enjoyed it so much he ordered a second bowl. My grilled chicken with peppercorn sauce was moist and delicious. The restaurant does not serve alcohol but more than makes up for its absence with an amazing selection of fresh juices and smoothies that are both delicious and healthy. Our made to order breakfast was also excellent and the chef is extremely accommodating to your dietary needs. The service was impeccable with friendly and helpful staff. A big shoutout to Sanjaya who was most attentive to all our food needs.

The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal prepared to a very high standard. The location is breathtaking and perfect if you’re looking to disconnect from the busy world, relax, and enjoy nature. The peaceful surroundings make it an ideal place to recharge and breathe. The only small downside is that the last 10 minutes of the road leading to the resort are quite rough and not very car-friendly. However, once you arrive, the experience is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend Anasa Wellness Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

Our family of four had the pleasure of spending four unforgettable nights at Anasa, and it was one of the finest hotel experiences we have ever had. What truly sets Anasa apart is its exceptional service. Every single member of the team we encountered was genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. It never felt scripted – instead, it felt as though everyone genuinely cared about making our stay as perfect as possible. The restaurant deserves special recognition. The culinary experience was outstanding throughout our stay, and the Team of the F&B Manager and the chefs went far beyond what we expected. They happily prepared dishes for our children that were not even on the menu. On our final evening, they created a fresh homemade lasagna for our daughter – even the pasta was made from scratch. It was absolutely exceptional and a wonderful example of the passion and care that the entire team puts into their work. The location is breathtaking. Surrounded by endless tea plantations, the views are simply spectacular, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to unwind. While the hotel is about a 35-minute drive from Ella, we actually considered this a great advantage, as it offers complete tranquility away from the crowds. The rooms and all facilities are beautifully designed and maintained to the highest standard. We were particularly impressed by the excellent gym and the luxurious spa, both of which are of outstanding quality and contribute to the overall feeling of understated luxury. In short, Anasa is one of those rare places where every wish seems to be anticipated before you even express it. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning. A very special thank you goes to Dylan, the Food & Beverage Manager, whose outstanding hospitality and attention to detail made every meal a memorable experience. His professionalism, genuine care, and excellent service truly went above and beyond and made us feel incredibly welcome. The spa was another highlight—my wife had a massage with Arunee, which she described as one of the best she has ever had. With its stunning location, luxurious accommodation, exceptional cuisine, outstanding service, and wonderful facilities, Anasa exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend this hidden gem.
