I had my gel nails and pedicure done here, they did an amazing job! The therapist was very professional and really took her time making sure everything was perfect! I’m very happy with the results!

I went there for waxing. The lady was really nice and made me feel comfortable - she asked about the temperature of the wax regularly and offered me a reasonable price. Also it didn’t hurt much. On the matter of hygiene, i would say it was ok. The armpit was well done. The brazilian also for the biggest part. But unfortunately the legs not so much. Apparently there was an issue with the wax-applicator. Plus a new client was waiting outside and the lady seemed a bit stressed. As i went home i noticed that some big spots on the legs still had hair, which i didn’t notice at the studio. Also some small parts in the bikini area. I spend quite a bit of time to take out the remaining hair. This made me feel a bit disappointed. But i didn’t go back because we travelled further this day. So to be fair, the lady had no possibly to react on this complaint. I would say that i could recommend the studio, but just take the time to check the work before you leave! And make sure that the curtains are well closed in the beginning, because there is a window front where the other clients wait and can see inside.

i had the most incredible massage experience here in sri lanka. from the moment i arrived, the atmosphere was so peaceful and welcoming. the therapist’s touch was absolutely amazing — every movement felt perfectly attuned to my body, releasing tension i didn’t even realize i was holding. i left feeling completely rejuvenated, calm, and deeply relaxed. this is truly a place where your mind and body can find harmony. i can’t recommend it enough!

Fabulous foot & leg massage - perfect pressure! Waxing very gentle yet quick & thorough. Beautiful, kind people, highly recommend! (Don't be put off by having to walk through a small reception area of the hotel to get to the rooms. 🌸)

We went to Dax & Wax twice for a couple massage. I will start from the second experience, because it was the worst service I’ve ever got. We came for a massage and were redirected to another place that seemed to be a different branch or just a different business. We ordered one face and head massage and one head and shoulder massage. The masseurs had no idea what they were doing, simply moving lotion around with no pressure, even when asked to apply pressure. They didn’t know the key spots where they were supposed to massage and didn’t even touch my shoulders - I’ve left the place more tense than when I came. I’ve got my hair extremely oily after being used as a towel for the masseur’s hands who poured cream on their hands every 5 mins. They were unprofessional and creepy - my fiancé’s male masseur asked inappropriate questions and tried to convince her for a body massage, instead of sticking to what she asked for (head and face - no shoulders). I’m leaving one star because when we went to the Dax & Wax for the first time, we had a great experience with two different people, one of the best massages I’ve got. That’s why we came back to get another service, which sadly went horribly wrong. I hope this review will help the owners to choose who they recommend clients to or who they hire…
