I honestly had no idea which haircut would suit me best, and since my hair falls a lot, I was a little worried too. But she understood everything perfectly and did such an incredible job. I had one of the worst experiences with this salon, especially on one of the most important days of my life—my engagement day. I made an appointment for my mom at 2:00 PM well in advance, clearly informing them that she needed to get dressed for my engagement. My family was traveling all the way from Colombo to Digana, so a slight delay of about 30 minutes was unavoidable due to road conditions. Despite this, we had communicated everything properly. When my mom arrived, the owner—who was supposed to handle her—was not there. Two assistants told her to wait, saying the owner would arrive soon. After waiting another 30 minutes, they casually informed her that the owner was actually in Colombo. This was shocking—how can someone take an appointment knowing they won’t even be present? My mom was left helpless. She couldn’t even contact me since I was getting ready for my engagement. When she asked the assistants to help, they said they were only trainees and didn’t know how to do the dressing. To make things worse, one of the trainees went upstairs and spoke in a way that made my mom suspicious—only for her to realize later that the owner was actually there the whole time and had lied about being in Colombo. This level of dishonesty and unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable—especially when I had clearly explained the importance of the occasion. Thankfully, my mom managed to find another nearby salon at the last minute, where they even mentioned that this salon has done similar things to other customers. Please do not risk your special day with this place. Extremely disappointing and stressful experience.
