Refresh Spa

I was staying near by and got a full body massage here along with a steam bath. I had a very pleasant experience - everyone was friendly and I enjoyed my massage. It could have been more relaxing if the lights in the rooms were dimmed or if you were provided with an eye mask.

I had a 2-hour Ayurvedic massage at Refresh Spa in Ella and overall it was a positive experience. The treatment was relaxing and professionally performed, covering everything from head to toe. My therapist, Anushka, was very kind and attentive, regularly checking if the pressure and comfort were right. I felt well looked after. The only area that could be improved is the general cleanliness and condition of the space (walls and floors), as it slightly affected the overall impression. With a bit more attention to this detail, the experience would be excellent.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The massage was more like body oiling, the overall hygiene was poor. Tatty looking towels and room that looked more like a garage than a spa. Other staff kept coming into the room and talking to the therapist. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant or relaxing experience. Please do your own research and don’t fully trust the recommendations from your hotel.

Really loved this spa. Very good price and quality. Staff are experienced and tailored massage to the pressure etc we want. Unique experience with the Shiro-Dhara. Steam bed is also great. We were not feeling well and they took extra care of us.

The equipment is quite basic but the prices are reasonable, and they adapt to your specific requests. You can get 1-hour or 2-hour massages. I did 2 massages with Pudjah and they were absolutely exceptional. My friend had injured her ankle, and one of the massage therapists kindly offered her a free 10-minute massage to relieve the pain. The next day, she was able to walk again without any pain 😀
