Salon Anoma

This was my first visit to Salon Anoma, located at Karagampitiya Junction. The men's haircut section is located on the first floor. The salon is fully air-conditioned, clean and comfortable. There are over six barbers working, and I didn't have to wait as a barber was available immediately. The haircut itself was good, and I was satisfied with the service. However, after finishing my haircut, the barber asked if I wanted to trim my beard. I said yes, but then he informed me that he already had an appointment at 10:00 AM and had asked for a referral to another barber to trim my beard instead. I was expecting the same barber who cut my hair to complete the service, so I politely declined. It felt a bit unprofessional to offer an additional service and it was not possible to provide it due to the later scheduling. Overall, the salon has a nice environment and good facilities, but I hope they improve their appointment management and customer service to provide a smoother experience.

Very good! Incredible service and so much better than the barber close to my home i used to go to, where i would sometimes wait for my turn for an hour! With Anoma, I call and make an appointment and go when my spot nears, so much more convenient! Prices as of april 2026 whatever i did. Haircut - 1000rs Beard trim - 500rs Shampoo wash - 500rs (i love this) Facial - 5500rs (i did this recently fire an event, best to go a day or two before, but i did on the day of, is around an hour and they clean your face and steam and exfoliate and use a tool to scrap out any gunk in your face) Hair coloring is 2500rs but i didn't do this , the guy was insisting lol cause my hair is really grey but i when it be found just cut the grey hairs. ALSO, WHEN YOU GO HERE THE FIRST TIME , AND IF YOU LIKE THE BARBER YOU GOT, GET HIS NAME DOWN SO YOU CAN BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIM SPECIFICALLY NEXT TIME

Dehiwela branch: CHAMILA is the best stylist here, very professional and smooth / gentle work. Very disappointed with some others’ service- I think the last haircut I got made me LOSE more hair because the stylist was very aggressive when blow-drying. I felt many hairs get pulled out of my scalp. Would rate a full 5 stars if the other hairdressers weren’t so aggressive- we are not zoo animals but customers after all. We trust you with a safe and positive experience, and a haircut is a very complicated process. Keep your emotions at home and treat the customers with some respect. Five stars aside from this.

Very disappointed with the customer service at the Dehiwela branch My friend and i made an appointment in advance, yesterday and the salon failed to record 2 appointments and had marked only 1.. though my hair cut was done, my friend who walked in next with an infant and her kid was asked to wait, so she will be taken next after my hair cut is done.. patiently she stayed, while until my hair cut was done, and after which the Lady refused to take her, stating that there were other customer appointments to be taken.. it would have been human to either tell it early so she leaves with her children, rather making her wait and then refusing to take her.. Kindly look into treating customers with empathy and not changing the word... utterly disappointed..

After 15 years of coming here, I'm honestly done. The quality has crashed completely. Prices keep climbing while the service keeps sinking. Front desk staff have no clue what they're doing and can be downright rude. The owner often looks like they're not even fully present, which tells you everything about how the place is run now. There are far better salons within a 2km radius, so save your time and go elsewhere.
