I went to this salon exactly seven days ago, on 18 July, to have my nails done. It was the worst experience of my life! First of all, when he was removing the polish with the buffer, it stung. Then, when he came to apply the polish, it was almost pitch black, so I don’t know how he managed it, but the result speaks for itself, it’s very poorly applied. I felt like I had to teach him how to do it properly. Before putting my hands under the UV lamp, I had to touch up my nails myself because he’d painted over the edges. As for the massages, they might be very good, but I’d strongly advise against going there to get your nails done! It’s outrageously expensive!! I went to Trincomalee next and, for the same price, 7,000 LKR, I had an incredible service at another salon for my feet. What’s more, at that shop in Arugam Bay, I’d haggled over the price, as it was originally 9,000 LKR, almost the same price as in France.
