Tonic Spa Hiriketiya

My experience here was amazing! I had a full body massage by Ishany and my partner got hers done by Princy and we both agree how relaxing the experience was. We were offered to shower before, lovely showers outside and private rooms. Staff were lovely and I appreciated how we had to fill out a preference form before. Thank you for a great experience!

Beautiful spa and they let you choose intensity, if you feel ok with a mal therapist, oils and if you want oil in your hair etc. So in theory all great and a friend of mine was very happy with her female therapist as well BUT my therapist was not educated and trained properly which makes it just dangerous to get a massage here. I had to tell him to not put pressure on my spine during the massage twice, he was super rushed with all movements and the next day my back muscle locked-up so much that I could not breathe without pain for 2 full days and had to take painkillers and muscle relaxant cream to be able to sleep. Highly advise the team to take action and train ALL members of their staff better to guarantee a safe and healthy experience for everyone no matter which therapist you end up getting.

I had a wonderful back, shoulder and neck massage with the perfect pressure. Some spas are very soft with the hands and my tonic masseuse listened to what I wanted and it was perfect. Tonic is a little bit more expensive than the other massage places, but they have air-conditioning and better facilities, so if you’re ok paying a bit more for a more comfortable, enjoyable massage, I recommend! I was very happy :)

I highly recommend Tonic spa. The atmosphere is lovely, the lady at the reception was very welcoming, but the highlight was my therapist Sathish. I went to him twice and they were honestly the best massages of my life. If I had stayed in Hiriketiya longer, I would have gone back again — and if I ever return, I most definitely will.

We had 2 wonderful massages at Tonic spa. It was the perfect balance of relaxing but firm to release all the tension after a 10 day surf trip. The staff were friendly and experienced. Would definitely recommend.
