Today I got a haircut at Sri Lanka Hairport Barbershop Kadni, and I am truly very satisfied with the service. The staff is professional, friendly, and very attentive. The haircut was done exactly the way I wanted, with great precision and care. The salon is clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. Do not rely on them for anything important I want to share this so others don't get caught out the way I did. I booked a hair-setting appointment for 6pm and phoned the salon the day before to confirm — they confirmed the time over the phone. On the day, I arrived on time and found the salon closed and dark. Their phone had been switched off the entire day. I wasn't the only one affected; a few other customers, including some visitors from abroad, were waiting outside expecting it to open. I then tried WhatsApp. The calls rang several times and were then declined, two or three times in a row. Eventually I received a single text message saying they were closed for the day. There had been no advance notice, no phone call, no apology, and no attempt to reschedule — despite having confirmed with me less than 24 hours earlier. What made it worse is the timing: this was for my best friend's wedding, and I was left stranded in a city where I don't know anyone. Thankfully a nearby salon helped me out at short notice, and they mentioned that customers come to them all the time after being let down here. The service itself may be fine when they're open, but reliability matters most when you're depending on an appointment. Based on my experience, I can't recommend them, and I'd advise anyone with a time-sensitive booking to look elsewhere.
