As someone who has visited countless spas over the years from luxury hotel spas to standalone wellness centers I rarely feel compelled to write reviews. However, Kurundu at Cinnamon Life is exceptional. Quite simply, it is the best spa experience I have had. What sets Kurundu apart is not just the facilities, but the extraordinary attention to detail. From the impeccably maintained changing rooms and bathrooms (complete with everything you need to freshen up afterwards) to the steam room, sauna, and tranquil relaxation spaces, every aspect has been carefully considered. It genuinely feels like a luxury resort experience without having to leave Colombo. A very special mention must go to my therapist, Sunarti. During my very first visit, I specifically requested the most professional and experienced therapist available, and I have never felt the need to book with anyone else since. Over multiple visits, she has consistently delivered an exceptional standard of care across treatments ranging from body scrubs and wraps to hot stone massages and treatments. What impresses me most is the consistency. At many spas, treatments start strong but gradually lose focus as the therapist becomes distracted or fatigued. That has never been my experience here. The pressure, technique, and attentiveness remain constant throughout. Her movements are calm, discreet, and professional; from warming the pillow and oils before treatment to ensuring every towel placement is gentle and unobtrusive. Equally important is the atmosphere. There is no sense of being rushed in and out. No interruptions, no staff conversations carrying through treatment rooms. Even the post-treatment tea is served in a genuinely peaceful relaxation area where you can continue to unwind. Kurundu is certainly positioned at a higher price point than many competitors, but in my view, it is not a comparable experience. The quality, professionalism, facilities, and attention to detail place it in an entirely different category. The fact that I continue to return says more than any review could. Despite having tried almost every notable spa in Colombo, Kurundu remains my first choice by a considerable margin
