​I visited Salon 101 as a wedding guest, and they really saved the day! I was running late for the event, but they were still willing to accommodate me and get my hair styled. ​The Pros: ​Impressive Speed: The lady styled my hair in under 30 minutes! I was incredibly grateful for how efficient they were, especially given my tight timeline. ​Fair Pricing: I felt the cost was very reasonable and fair for the quality and speed of the service provided. ​One Note for Improvement: The only downside was that there was quite a bit of tugging during the styling process. While I’ve noticed this is somewhat common in many salons across Sri Lanka, it’s something to be mindful of if you have a sensitive scalp. ​Overall: Despite the tugging, I was very happy with the final look and the excellent service. Their ability to work under pressure is a huge plus.

I visited this salon on 8th April 2026 for a haircut and a keratin treatment. I was asked to come at 10:00 a.m, but I had to wait for more than an hour. During the service, my hair was accidentally washed twice. The owner seemed to be in a hurry while ironing my hair. Even though I informed him, he did not pay attention and ended up burning my scalp. I also received the worst haircut I have ever had. I specifically asked for a layered cut, but there are no visible layers. After washing my hair later, I realized that the keratin treatment had not been done properly, as my natural curls returned immediately. Overall, the service was very unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

This is the worst place to get your hair colored. Choosing this salon was a big mistake. They handled my hair in a very rough and careless manner, with no professionalism or attention to detail. I spent a lot of money and was extremely disappointed with the result. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I visited this salon last Friday for a haircut, beard trim, and black hair coloring. Unfortunately, the service was unprofessional, and the staff appeared to lack adequate experience. The black hair color was not applied properly, and after bathing at home, white hair became visible again. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Asked us to come at 8.45 am. I went there with my little one to cut her hair. Stayed outside the door for more than an hour and he never showed up. Called him twice and all he said is “I’m on my way “. But that never happened. I went to the salon next door and got my work done. I’ll never go to 101 again. 😊
