Extremely unprofessional service and a total waste of time We had a terrible experience at Salon Ruby, Kegalle. Despite having an appointment, there was no preparation. My wife went in for a waxing service that usually takes 30 minutes in Colombo, but here it took an exhausting 2.5 hours. It was clear that the staff provided were still in training, as the work was not up to professional standards. We don't mind the price, but we do mind the lack of professionalism and the poor result. My wife usually leaves a salon happy, but she left Salon Ruby in a terrible mood because of how poorly she was treated and the low quality of the work. Extremely disappointed. VISA CARDS NOT ACCEPT & NO PARKING SPACE Avoid this place if you value your time and expectations.

Very poor skills in doing hair styles. Makeup is not upto standard either. They will make you look dark and red. Cannot recommend to anyone

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience. I went to this salon for wedding makeup, and it was very disappointing. The main artist did a poor shade match, making my face look darker with overly red undertones (I looked dull and grey). My eyebrows were drawn too dark and harsh, the eye makeup looked very bad, and they didn’t even use concealer or have a setting spray. The products seemed cheap, and I ended up wiping it off and doing my own makeup. The place was also unhygienic the back room smelled terrible, I could hear rats while doing the makeup, and damp makeup sponges were kept on top of the toilet, which was disgusting. I chose this salon because it looked decent, but I regret it. They may be good at men’s haircuts, but women’s makeup is terrible. I even broke out afterward, and my relatives who came with me also regretted getting their makeup done here. I definitely would not recommend it.

They ruined my face from the makeup and I was like a devil.Also they curled my hair with a hurry and it went back to normal within like 30 minutes. When I arrived to my event I was a ghost with a messy hair.They gossips with each other endlessly and pay less attention to their work.Never going back.
