STS Hospital

I recently had my grandmother surgery at STS Hospital, and we had a very positive experience. The nurses and all the staff were kind, professional, and very supportive throughout her treatment. The service was excellent, and everyone made us feel comfortable and well cared for. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding care. I highly recommend STS Hospital.

The cataract surgery for my aunt went very well. Overall, we had a great experience. The staff were friendly and caring. One suggestion for improvement would be to communicate the procedure and next steps more clearly. At times, we were simply asked to sit and wait without any further instructions, which was a bit confusing. Keeping patients and their families informed about what to expect and when they will be called would make the experience even better.

Extremely disappointing visit today at STS. I took my elderly mother for her laser eye surgery today for her 2:30pm appointment. However, we were told that the doctor would only arrive after 4pm. BUT, they had already taken the payment and also put some medicine in her eyes already in the waiting area. I confronted a nurse about this and told her that my mother was hungry and that I am going to give her food but she said that we had to take her elsewhere to eat. My mother wasn't the only patient waiting hours before the doctor came. There were many patients waiting who had made their payment and also had medicine put in their eyes. Many of these patients are old and some have come from far away areas. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will not be recommending this hospital to anyone else. Despite being a PRIVATE hospital, there is no structure. Even a public hospital would do better than this. How disheartening!!

Chandra Kumar is an exceptional professional who performed the procedure with the utmost care and precision. A special thank you to the hospital staff, who were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel comfortable and well-cared for from start to finish. We are very grateful to the doctor and the entire team for their dedication and support!

STS Hospital is a good place for eye care in Jaffna. The doctors and staff are friendly and professional, and the service is well organized. Overall, it's a reliable hospital for eye check-ups and treatment.
